Our History

1993

The history of advotec. as it is today began in 1993 with the founding of the law firm in Würzburg.

2002

With the opening of an office in Gießen, our law firm expanded for the first time to a different location.

2004

The law firm established an office in Munich, in close proximity to the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office.

2008

the Siegen office has become part of the law firm network. At the same time, the participating law firms started appearing under the joined name advotec. for the first time.

2011

advotec. expanded its presence in southern Germany with an office in Straubing.

2026

Bodenseepatent, based in Singen and with a history dating back to 1972, has merged with advotec.
